“I first started having botox with Dr Coffey when I was about 30 as a preventative measure. Whilst I wasn’t at all wrinkly, I had started to see tiny lines on my forehead. The first time I went to see Dr Coffey I wasn’t nervous at all, as she immediately put me at ease and explained the whole process. She has an excellent ‘bedside manner’ and lets you know immediately before she does each injection, so there are no surprises at all. I only have botox in my forehead done (not my crow’s feet as I don’t need it yet) and the whole process is over within a few minutes. It wasn’t pain free – but each injection just feels like any other injection and just a small pin-prick. There was a very small amount of redness, but it was gone in about 15/20 minutes. The effects started about 5 days afterwards and within 10 days the botox has totally worked. I don’t look ‘frozen’ at all, but my forehead is totally smooth. I am now 34, and regularly people tell me they think I’m in my late-20’s – which I love, of course! The compliments are 100% as a result of the botox I get from Dr Coffey. I see her about 3 times a year for top-ups. Dr Coffey also has professional integrity. I spoke to her recently about my crow’s feet and getting fillers – she has advised me it’s not necessary for me to have those treatments. She would never advise that I have an un-necessary treatment, which I really appreciate and means that I trust her with my skin and treatment regime.
